2007 is in Full Swing:

The year has started with a bang – and the bookings have been flying in.  We hope it means the start of Mozambique’s best year to date!

Fond Farewell:

I am sad to report that I will be leaving Benguerra at the end of February.  It has been a fabulous two and a half years – but it’s now time for a change.

The lovely and competent Amanda Vermeulen will be taking over from me from 1st March, and I hope you’ll be as supportive of her as you have been of me.  She’s going to do a great job.

It’s been wonderful working with you, and I hope our paths cross again soon.

Floods:

The rains causing flooding in central Mozambique (more than 700kms north of us) have not affected us.  The Zambezi basin floods every year and unfortunately for the people living in that area, this year is worse that most.  At Benguerra we’ve had a surprisingly dry and temperate February.
